What the hell does getting a masters degree have to do with anything?
Does having a masters mean better jobs/opportunities in the long run?
And what the fuck is up with 2012 anyways?

I am looking into doing a masters at the moment.
Doing a degree was good but I feel it was too general and if I knew now what I didn't know then then I would apply myself in a completely different way.
With so many "creatives" flooding the market, specialising can only be a good thing. I do think that I would be able to charge more but that's not the only reason....... I wanna get fucked everynight on a student load again...

Although I do feel that a Masters can give you the edge that the next person may not have, your work is still the most important factor. While your getting your Master's, others are getting their first jobs and gaining experience which to some may be more valuable.
Still the work will speak for itself, I think everyone's situation is different.
