Tracking Ad Traffic?

I have a client who started selling advertising on her site. Is there a way that she can track the stats for the specific ad with google analytcis?

they are just jpgs on the website. can you track something like this?

perhaps get her to google:

You want to track ads that you are posted yourself as 'just jpegs', then get some ad serving software installed on the server and input the 'ads' through that. Then it CAN track it.
If you're using PHP or ASP there is a ton of free or near free options out there.

We use Openx adserver (running on our server, free). There's also a hosted option..
