Is it possible to have a set of different fonts in a grouped folder within the font menu on illustrator/photshop/flash ?

So I've just installed 10 fonts that I want to try out on a project, but now they are in my big long list of fonts within illustrator, I can't remember which ones I just installed, I want to put those in one folder that I can see the font menu.

    Then life would be nice.

    Anything do that for me?

Or you could tackle the problem at it's root, and enable fonts into folders in Suitcase, then only enable the ones you're going to be using; thus avoiding the problem of the massive long list altogether.

I've not got around to installing suitcase on my new mac, but i know what you mean.

Still, you have system fonts in the way. just seems limiting to only be able to view a font list alphabetically.

There should be some sort of organiser for font lists. wouldn't it be if instead of a list of fonts in illustrator, you see a folder list:

    system
    client a
    client b
    serif
    sans
    modern
    web
    etc....

and inside each folder is what ever fonts you choose to put in.

like the folders within apple's font book.
