is there a simple way to create a link on a pdf that will attach the pdf to an email automatically? i've googled and am probably looking for the wrong thing.
i don't want to add a link that simply opens the users email client but opens the email client and attaches the pdf.
so, steps:
1: user fills in form
2: user clicks 'email form now:
3: email app opens, file automatically attachedis this possible?

why do you want to send a form and open an email client ?

Why don't you do a web form?

Yeah your best bet is to create and send the email from your server. I think it's virtually impossible to do it with the users own email-client.

you could however add the info they enter in the form into the email itself, but not as an attached file..
mailto:email@email.com?body=body...
