  Speaking of CS4 guides, does anyone know how to bring back the previous 1px wide guides, instead of this horrible anti-aliased shite that CS4 has?

  I found the answer here, actually, in an old thread somewhere...

  Go to Preferences > Performance and uncheck "Enable OpenGL Drawing"... then close and re-open the document. Or maybe restart Illustrator.

  But, that'll get your 1px guides back, but loose the pixel grid at high zoom settings.
