Intern Portfolio Inclusions

I'm rejigging my portfolio as I'm looking for some new freelance work and was wondering if someone could offer some advice.

Over the last year I've been working in house at a music pr/events company so my portfolio is looking pretty dominated with flyers and posters, on and offline. Before this I did a 4 month stint as an intern at an experiential agency where I was involved in the planning stages of a lot of promotional campaigns and publicity stunts for high profile films and brands. As I'm aiming eventually for a junior designer position in a creative agency, is it acceptable to feature the projects I was involved with during this period even if I did not actually create the final outcomes? I feel that ive cornered myself specifically in the music industry with my current work but I'm not sure if its ok to feature projects from this internship if I havent physically created them. If I do include them I do not at a later date want to be accused of taking credit for work I have no right to and end up losing a job.

    Any opinions?

I should be clearer actually, on these projects II was involved with the brainstoming activities, drafting pitches, creating simple visualisations and the presentations themselves. The senior designer created the final graphic pieces used in the campaigns or the film studios would create them in house from our specifications

you could use them once you credit the other people i think

Just be very clear about your role and involvement and I don't see an issue. You can call it strategy/concepting. A portfolio will get you in the door, but any place decent will be able to tell if you're not representing yourself correctly.
