I have a faux-leather Griffin case right now that I really like, but I think this is a pretty cool idea.
When threadless or skinnycorp did neckties for a while, there were some cool results, they were just too expensive.

I still have the old iPhone (2 gen 16GB), I had an Agent 18 case but now I'm going bareback. Makes it a lot slimmer plus the only way I can justify getting a 3G is if I break this one.

the only reason you get an iphone case is when your model goes out-of-date and you wanna hide the fact
otherwise, i say respect the slim profile and design of the device; the designers knew what they were doing
