There's been a lot of talk over the last couple of years about server-side graphics rendering, pushing complex 3D images onto devices otherwise incapable of showing them.
When this was to do with games consoles (http://www.techcrunch.com/2008... I thought it was a bit of a daft concept (imagine the lag!). When it was mooted for cellphones, it made a lot more sense, but still - cellphones? Yawn.
When it's put into the realms of the 3D graphics artist or designer, it makes a hell of a lot of sense.

I'll take back the 'cellphones? yawn' line when They come with HUD/ocular implant/VR visors with 1080+ resolution.
A little way of yet though, I'll wager.
