Well, Microsoft Office is a PoS as is Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection, Hmm I see a theme emerging here.
Googling for "mac pos software" may provide slightly more relevant answers

seriously though, I have not used this, but other seem to like it
assuming you are talking about Point of Sale and not piece of shit or parallel operating system or priority override security.

I doubt this is the right forum for this question, sadly.
I sincerely don't wish to stir up the Mac vs. PC debate - but... although I can't see a price on there, judging by the stated savings and freebies (totalling $670), I assume we're talking about a relatively expensive bit of kit.
Are you sure that sticking with a Mac is the best option here? i imagine there must be a tonne of cheap/OS PC linux versions kicking around, probably with longer pedigrees and larger userbases... might you be better off just buying a cheap store-side PC and running some slightly greyer software on that?
PCs are always derided as boring business machines... perhaps this is one of those times where this is a good thing?
Just a thought.
- how dare you, sir.

funnily enough i was in the island of Curacao ordering food at a take out place and they were using a mac based point of sale terminal. I would have asked which it was but they didn't speak English nor I spoke their language. I'm sure it wasn't the one you spoke of so there must be more.

Call an Apple store.
Most stores have small business teams - I'm sure they can give you some options.
