That's front and back btw

Pretty cool design, although I'd say (as a printer) that 300gsm would be too light for a business card. Up the stock weight to 350gsm / 400gsm uncoated.
Are you printing this using PMS or CMYK?

didn't really dig the vibe until I checked out caferoyal.org, then it actually works for me. I think some good typography would do a world of wonders for the back of that card. maybe handwrite the type on the back and keep it white, or maybe even screen the white back for your url and email address.

Yeah, I was thinking of hand writing the back but then I thought it might look too hand-done?
Using CMYK. Might up the weight.

the front of the card is ok.
the back needs some typographic loving.

Any suggestions? Kind of want the back to be more formal.

lose the illustration on the back, keep the text all one colour, if you're going to keep the left justification I'd bring the text up to the top left corner, or you could center justify the type and keep it where it is... I'd not do too much with the type, I think keeping it lo-fi, simple and sorta awkward suits your aesthetic...

cheers. Will have a play with the back. Pretty set on the front I think

If you're printing this CMYK on a heavyweight uncoated, you won't be able to find many trade printers running this board. The costs could be quite high. I know a trade printer who runs regular 4/4 sheets on a very nice 400mic uncoated recycled pulpboard, if it helps?

I like it but would get rid of blue links and make em' white. Nice though.

I just used the blue to fit with the website. Not a good idea you think?

not blue text.
- kalkal0
Even though it matches the site, it sorta makes it look like you were making it in msword and it auto formatted the links..
- Atkinson0
I did.
Joking.
yeah true.
I changed it to white. Looks better.
Off to print I hop / walk / email.

I agree with what's been said. I thought the blue stood out as an odd color. The type on the back could be made much more interesting.

I'm working on a business card for an HVAC technician and I'm looking for some inspiration. Anyone know of any good HVAC sites, or seen any good cards. Thanks

Needs type design help. Look here for understanding of hierarchy:

I think it is a little redundant to have that illustration on the front and back. In my opinion I think it should just be on the front.. and the back should have nice typography contact info. Maybe some handwritten text like on the front.

Just use all black with all hand writting. More consistent, less forced.
