flash btn...?

  I know its been a while but....

  I'm making a btn.
  1st make a mc
  then within that make a btn layer, and make a btn with the rectangle tool. select that and covert to symbol(btn)
  select that fucker and code

  except its not letting me code it.

  "current selection can not have actions..." in the Actions window??

  am I trippin or did I get up to early?
