What software do those of you developing Flash and Papervision projects use these days? I know there's a move away from the traditional Adobe development environment and towards 3rd party tools like FlashDevelop. I tried FD a few times on PC and liked it, is there anything equivalent for Mac?

FDT, FlashBuilder (old FlexBuilder)
They're built on top of Eclipse, so you can use them as a plugin in that.
There's Aptana, which is the same shit as Eclipse only polished.
There's an AS3 textmate bundle.
That's about it. FDT or FlashBuilder from Adobe are the real deal. TextMate is not so real deal, but it opens faster.
- Aptana != Flash development, and it's a set of Eclipse plugins...rounce

I'm totally sold on Eclipse + Flash Bulder as a plugin.
these days, since i'm waiting for an OS update i'm back to coding inside flash and that is very painful.

Eclipse + plugins.
You can develop for pretty much any language with it. I do pretty much all my programming in it.
Currently got it setup for: C++, Obj-C, AS3, JS, PHP, HTML, CSS, RoR, Java (w/ processing library project templates), Python, C#, and a few others that get only a tiny amount of use.
