I go to a house party every year but this year no one is throwing one, well non that i know of yet...anyone know anything good going on?

museum night is good, specially for the first time. its normally a good time of year these few weekends, but ive been so busy im kinda outta the loop.

@ dconstrukt - they banned mushrooms a while ago, but you can still buy 'truffels' havent taken em but think they just as good. any smartshop will have em. check out van gogh museum, its pretty damn good. if it good weather hit vondel park, hire some bikes, annoy the locals and see whats on at paradiso - great venue for bands and shit, also melkweg...hmmm if i think of anything ill post, im bad at this stuff

this'll be my 12th time to the dam since 2005. I only smoke the strongest shit.... can't wait to hit the greenhouse :-)
i have a crazy tolerance to it for some reason. booze no, but weed, yes. weird.
never tried the truffles.... the shrooms were amazing back before they banned them. the truffles must taste like crap. how do you eat them??

truffles don't taste bad, just a bit tangy.
a lot of smartshops still have other kinds, only they've been dried and are under-the-counter. so be friendly, and ask about the hawaiians. (hint: innerspace on staalstraat)

truffles are great...
Halloween strangely is one of the few things I miss from North America, it was never that big when I was in amsterdam, unless you could be bothered heading to an expat circle jerk...
the autumn leaves, the smell in the air, the stupid shit you'd get up to as a kid, even remember a few first snowfalls of the season happening on Halloween [< growing up in Canada]...
Today, it was 28 degrees in Melbourne, and the stupid shit I got up to involved buying groceries, some herbs to plant at the garden center and a good cleaning of the house... there are a couple parties on tonight, none of which have anything to do with halloween, but you know, I'm ok with that.. There will be no truffles though, and you know, I'm not so ok with that, whatever, new city, new traditions, new life...
