I'm looking for some more modern looking serif typefaces for a project I'm working on. I'm finding that anything in the style of Hoefler Text has too much of a classic feel and slab's are a bit too clunky.
Any suggestions?

although a contemporary serif is a very broad term and can mean just about everything- This definitely leaning in the right direction. Thanks.2cents
