I used to be okay in the previous version of flash. Everything seemed to fit in the screen okay and working on a laptop was fine. I have yet to find an arrangement of windows in CS4 that feels like it works without constantly collapsing, expanding and rearranging windows. Does anyone else find this? Has anyone discovered the magic arrangement that allows access to the stage, properties, timeline, actions and align/transform windows. I'm clearly asking for too much.

I really suggest using 2 monitors. One monitor for timeline, stage, tools, align, color and properties. Second monitor for library and actions.

I thought it would of got better with Adobe buying Flash, but it is worse. It is buggy as hell on a mac, and there are ridiculous oversights such as if you go to pick a colour with the picker that is near the colour pop up, and its shadow it takes the colour of the two together... shite!

They just sort of made it super customisable then said "well they can move things where they want so it'll be fine" instead of actually designing an interface that fucking worked.
all to often customisation is pushed to hide the lack of actual UI design
