Arrg! v stressful :-(
Im trying to design a front-end series of forms that will load another set of forms depending on the options chosen within a particular combo box.
e.g. when a user choses option 1 from the drop-down box and clicks submit it takes them to form Z, but if they choose option 2 from the drop-down box and click submit it takes them to form Y.
Is there some elegant way of doing this using http_request or jQuery/ Ajax?

Something like this perhaps? Check out the demo:

You forgot to insert a Gillywog in your JazX.

you could put each form in a separate div on one page and show/hide the divs with javascript. jquery example...
$("#submit_button").click(functi... () {
$("#form_one").hide();
var formvalue = $("#field_to_check").val();
if ( formvalue == "some option" ){
$("#form_two").show();
} else {
$("#form_three").show();
}
});

...or use jquery load() to just load the template you want into your form.

Thanx for the recommendats and code. I'm doing the front-end design of an online portal to an internet telephone system. Real complex set of tasks to set etc.. Trying to keep it as simple as possible only showing what is needed as and when without having to go through a series of 100 pages to get a result :-/
Found a real nice examples of what I'm trying to achieve making complex process/ simple.
