i'm looking to severely downsize and upgrade my current printer and scanner situation, so i was going to get an all-in-one deal... does anybody have any recommendations? Mainly i just need something that'll do pretty decent resolution scans as well as decent printing, including one-off proofs or stuff for the portfolio (but not solely dedicated to that kinda stuff)... has anyone had any luck with any?

get 2 machines; a scanner and a printer. sorry never been a fan of all-in-ones.

I have the Epson CX7400 "all-in-one" scanner, printer, copier.
* the best $70- I have ever spent

wired mag this month gives the Epson Workforce 610 printer a 7 out of 10. ($200 maybe expensive)
also reviewed: http://smallbusinesscomputing.co…i do agree with inkpink. separate printer scan is ideal but for basic use a solid all-in-one could be good. i've had a good track record with epson machines so far...

I just got this
canon pixma mp250
the color print in standard mode is more than decent, haven't tried the photo mode yet, but don't think i'll ever will.
paid €49 for it,

a decent scanner could (and should) last you much longer than a printer.

I have the newer Samsung Wireless Multi-thingamajigg

http://base1.googlehosted.com/ba…Looks amazing and is extremely quiet, almost too quiet (not sure when it starts and end). The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't insert multiple pages to be scanned or copied (or at least I haven't figured that out yet)

Anybody know anything about the Epson Artisan 800 All-in-One Printer?
