Things are really picking up. Companies are looking to hire and interviewing. Got about 15 emails about positions last month.
International recruiting is still uneasy but if you are good enough, they will relocate.

Now, I'm here in NY, but I don't know how is the average daily salary for a freelance motion designer and also make some of print staff. The agency where I'm working is offer me US$250 per day. I know is too low, but nowadays which is the average having in mind "the economic situation" ??

Getting set up isn't so bad here, its certainly frustrating however - finding a place etc. Im holding on to what I have right now, just made the move from CT into the city over the summer. My room mate, recently got picked up full-time again after freelancing (editorial design) pretty risky area I know.
