Working on a boring video

Typical corporate crap, about 90 seconds long. Uses a bunch of stock video footage of mountain climbers.
I don't usually do video work so I'm just not sure what I can do to make this more interesting. Anyone have any ideas or links to some inspiration?
I'd like to just find something I can do to these videos rather than just playing these plain clips, something graphically or some cool effects.

rotate the video 180 degrees and reverse the clip. That way they are climbing up.... BACKWARDS!!!!

Split screen one side normal other side close up of hands or feet, if you can get away with zooming in and won't lose too much quality.
- Doubt that will work, the clips are the same size as my composition. Scaling would blur them.CygnusZero4
- if the final delivery is web you will be fine.chossy
- No its gonna play on a screen at some conference in south america.CygnusZero4

when someone grabs something, put a wee graphic over the hand like some concentric circles which move out or in the signify strength or targeting and area.
- Have any examples? I dont know exactly what you're describing, sounds cool though.CygnusZero4
- just look at the intro to 'stranger than fiction' this should give you an idea :).chossy

if they are moving their legs put an overly of two lines and a circle in the middle down one leg to signify a mechanical exertion or the movement of the limbs.

Hide disturbing images in random frames.

resolution doesn't matter if you treat it graphically... make it hi-con or something

Great to be you.
Me, I do nothing but video and do lots of rock climbing.
Too bad you don't do either. That's probably why you think its boring and don't have any cool ideas to apply to the project.
