Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth
In the beginning it's confusing and strange. Complex diagrams and multi-layered (not to mention multiple timelines). I've never read anything like this. I almost gave up because of this complexity, but after reading more reviews, I decided to keep sticking with it. It does get more intriguing and understandable by the end. Many people believe it's one of the best graphic novellas ever made, so give it a go if you're into that. The artwork is some of the best I've ever seen. A lot of "empty" scenes that are meant to be taken in slowly.

Worked with this guy last year. He flew two missions... it's like listening to your crazy uncle talk about space flight - he tells it like it really is. The book wasn't 'washed' through NASA Public Relations.
