Good diners in NYC? Good food/ place / crazy egg menu. Any reommendations? Close ish to 42nd if possible.

Brooklyn Diner on Broadway & 43rd — it's kinda fancy, though. There's a regular old diner at 9th & 44th called Westway — big menu.

theres that boxcar diner in williamsburg near the bridge.

famous diners tour- the interior of the diner in seinfeld was modeled after the place on broadway/101, the exterior shots are from tom's diner on broadway/112, which is also the inspiration for suzanne vega's song song of the same name.

I would highly recommend Katz Deli if you are on Houston...not a diner just worthwhile.
Should you like Katz hit Eisenberg's on 5th ave around 21st st.

WAVERLY! on 6th (Avenue of the Americas) and Waverly Place. But also the Good Stuff diner on 14th and the Malibu Diner on 23rd. Hm. All my favorite diners are off PATH station stops. :)
