my fucking day rate is enormous and I'm now firmly in the fan questioning camp
- chossy0
The shit has really, travelled towards the fan but then been blown without any buffeting towards a different area smoothly and evenly at roughly but I can't be exact, 15 times the speed it had traveled towards the fan.

I have central air conditioning. Cost me $1500 and my whole house is cooled nicely, not just whatever bit of myself I have facing the path of that vortex machine.

The Dyson fan now sends a solid, steady, & very pleasant stream of shit through the air.

whats your day rate as an illustrator?
- dopepope0
I just ordered one for every room. And one for my coworkers at McD's.

I too love how people who draw illustrations all day and charge themselves at hundreds of pounds have the right to question some fan. Or a Milkman, or a Premiership footballer, or a dot.com billionaire, or a pensioner, or a convict.
My God Kezza, what are you saying, you'd like to live in a world where we weren't allowed to question some fan?

Get Damien Hirst to make you a model of the fan and it'll cost you even more!

If I had the money and needed a fan I would buy this, it looks rad, and does something rad. Come on folks relax. Stop being such a bunch of douches.

i don't understand why people are so excited about this.
THERE IS A FAN INSIDE. it's not bladeless, they just covered them up and force the air out of a much smaller area so it gives the impression that it's blowing harder.
force air out of any small opening and it's going to come out more forcefully, albeit with a smaller, more focused area.
think of this thing as a tube with a fan on one end and a small hole on the other. it's just shaped differently to disguise the fact.
this isn't magic, or any new technology.
- but it doesn't CLOG!dopepope
- Thank god you arrived to clear things up. We would have been mystified for ever.Orbit
- what fan clogs?scarabin
- a Dyson fan sure doesn't. That's for sure!dopepope
- Not even in those tiny little air intake slots? I FUCKING BET IT DOES YOU KNOW.Orbit
- I'm joking. A reference to his vacuum cleaner. but now that I think about it, yeah, those thin slots probably will fill with dust quick.dopepope
