Having trouble complimenting a headline in DIN with a suitable typeface for the subheading. Any suggestions?

Looking for a Roman or a sans?
Some roman's i've noticed work well proportionally are Times and Minion. HF&J's Mercury works well too, although can get a little heavy and competitive.

like any any? what DIN style do you use anyway?
http://fontbureau.com/fonts/Popu… Popular is a perfect match
http://suitcasetype.com/index.ph… Kulturista is nice too. If you like slab serifs.

Should have clarified. Using FF DIN Condensed.
I wasn't sure, but sans-serifs and slabs look a bit better with the rest of the graphic. Thanks for the good suggestions.

You might try Apex Serif too:

some humanistic uncondensed sans like FF Kievit or maybe Vista (nice to have Vista Slab as a counterpart) woud work well against condensed technical DIN. Apex is nice too, or some geometric slab like Serifa.

DIN makes we want to vomit. So overused these days

thing that sucks is that clients keep fucking requesting it. i want to blow my brains out.

I've never had a client request DIN, and thankfully I've not had to use it since 2005.

Be thankful for that. Seems like every agency I work with... DIN needs to be used as the primary typeface choice in comps / sites.

If you are tired of using DIN and GOTHAM, just give your clients a better alternative if you have one. Voilá!

Try tonic and a lime.
