Dio or Ozzy

Our client wants a soundtrack on their site and their current logo is in Ozzy. We think Dio is the way to go. Should we put design considerations above consistency?

Ozzy is of course iconic...the original, the man/voice that started it all....and there are legendary tracks (for me atleast) like 'spiral architect' and 'the writ'.....
however....
as far as just general 'over-all' vocal abilities, its old leather lungs by miles....dio's voice on solid recording such as heaven and hell, and neon knights etc...i mean..c'mon..
on his BEST day, ozzy couldn't do vocals like that....on a personal level, i like em both....they both seem to me like they'd be just pretty decent blokes to chat with....both excellent entertainers...

can you explain 'their current logo is in Ozzy'.....
our current logo is inside legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne....it was swallowed onstage during the guitar solo for crazy train....

Truth being, I love Dio, but his entire lyrical schtick for decades is just paring opposite words and concepts next to each other..you know "You're a rainbow..in the dark!", It's Heaven..but it's Hell!" "Don't talk to strangers because they're really the freinds you hate!" "The Tiger has stripes, but they're not real!"etc. I mean every song is this..
Ozzy's lyrics were a bit more introspective, although they barely escaped the mundane at times.
But what it comes down to for me, is who would I enjoy an evening chit chatting and sharing a scotch with, and it's hands down RJD.
Sharon and reality TV has killed Ozzy.

+1 to TBO. The better question is which band has better music. Musically, DIO was better.
- Well, the first two Ozzy discs with Randy are unimpeachable...but overall the edge is to RJDTheBlueOne
