It's pretty neat. Might be a little overwhelming since the default one actually seems to work fine, but I wouldn't be surprised if Apple implemented a customizable home screen in the future anyway.

i like this idea...
... but it does remind me alot of my old Windows phones homepage...
... I sort of like the snobbery of having to slide-click into my phone to get at stuff... that way people can see that I have an iPhone... and they don't. Neeener Neeeener! :D

Kinda of like the Windows home screen but WAY less prominence on the clock. The biggest diff is, and the best part is that you could let your other apps feed the home screen too. sweet.

I also like this idea.. specially the fact that it can be nudged between spotlight search and application screens.. totally nice and could work.

Nice... it would need to be ultra customisable though... as the first element they have on that page is a repeat of the time, which is a bit of a fail, so if you could remove that or integrate the top bar with the network etc it would be great.
Also a link directly to the default app page would be nice too. (might be there and I've not spotted it)

This is really nice. While you are at it, can you provide an option that gets rid of the locked slider? My work phone has a fingerprint scan...silly for my work phone but it would be a great way to unlock my iphone.

as a UX designer I was skeptical, but there is some great concepts here. the idea needs some further development but I really like it.
