argh... try to avoid exchange server workplaces, usually indicates IT dept tyranny....
exchange server was carefully designed to,uh, encourange you to use MS clients.. others will work, but often not have certain features your co-workers have, like scheduling,etc....

Once I switched to Google Mail for small businesses all my email-related problems were gone.

I used to use thunderbird, just use gmail now.
