Any recommendations for a good one?
I was looking at the sothink one.

Sothink is alright...does a better jobs with .as files, but renames all the variables to loc1, loc2, loc3, etc.
Gordon is better in that respect, but it lumps all the external actionscript in the main timeline.
Depends on what's more important to you.

Reverse Engineering
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rev…
is the process of discovering the technological principles of a device, object or system through analysis of its structure, function and operation. It often involves taking something (e.g., a mechanical device, electronic component, or software program) apart and analyzing its workings in detail to be used in maintenance, or to try to make a new device or program that does the same thing without copying anything from the original.- that should say ...totally copying anything form the original.********

sothink is cool , you can learn a lot by looking at the source code

this one is pretty good: Flash Decompiler Trillix

Sothink is the only one I know of that gives you AS code you can copy paste an run. Lots of others give you bytecode type things.
But for me on OSX 10.4 Sothink crashes with certain SWF files when trying to read the code.
In those cases this app http://www.docsultant.com/nemo44… works, it's free, but does not output workable Actionscript, only the bytecode or whatever. It's still human readable, it's not just raw binary.

In my hobby - FLASH, I use Flash Decompiler Trillix from Eltima, and learn this interesting programming very well.
