HTML email Q (quick one!)

So, I'm doing a HTML email (fucking yay!) and wanted to use a background image for the bg of the page, and inside 2 of the tables.
Thing is, some email clients rip out the body and head tags, so they aren't showing up.
One work-around is to just specify the background image in the table tag (or whatever its called) but then I seem to lose the ability to position the image and/or tile it as I could in before.
Not sure if you know what I'm on about, I try not to touch code (for these very reasons), but if anyone has experienced this before or can give me any guidance it would be much appreciated!

Backgrounds won't work with new version of Outlook.
The best you could do is make sure that when the background get's stripped out, the email still looks good without it. Let me know if you have any other ?'s as I have a ton of experience with these (I know, yay!)

Yeah everything still works fine when the 2 offending images are stripped out in terms of legibility.
The main problem is the images I wanted to use in 2 tables, these contain client quotes and I wanted to have the image in the bottom right corner, with the text wrapping around it. Cant really think of another way of getting the image in there. I could mail you a link for you to see what I mean?

quick fix is place everything in a container table with a bgcolor
color on your body tag will get stripped

feel free to send it over...sounds like you could do what you want by just throwing the image inside the table and working the text around it.
