preview while shooting?

i've a seen a video where the photographer shoots and instantly the image comes up on his mac's screen.
what do i need to be able to do this? software, cables etc? my cam is canon 350d

frame theif or adobe onlocation might do this, also he may have had a video out plugged into the mac or the actual program was edited to make it look that way.... but check out frame theif and adobe on location.

A friend of mine uses the software and wire that comes with Canon cameras. Instant shots on screen.

Ruffian is right, it comes with the camera, and is otherwise free to download on the website from Canon, do a search for "tethering". And just try google or the manual because this is quite lazy of you.
