Export from AE as mov and put the mov into Flash Video Encoder?
Works for me.

I export as a full res, uncompressed (well, usually use Blackmagic codecs) and use the Adobe Video Encoder.
I resize before using the encoder - for example, if I want a tiny version for the web I'll resize in Premiere first.

a really good 'trick' is to export as .mov upload to your vimeo account, and grab the flv back, thier quality is superb!

I 3rd (or 4th) the Adobe Video Encoder. Delivers every time. Alternatively, use Sorensen Squeeze.
- I tried Squeeze, but the results weren't that great (but I only gave it a quick go - too expensive)formed

I use Media Encoder too, but gonna try Chris' trick above

export as h264 quicktimes and rename them from .mov to .flv .
believe it or not, works perfectly.- what what what ?!?1
this is madness, of which you speak. Must try immediately.mikotondria3 - I think FP10 fully supports the mov format with h264 codec. I don't even think you need to change the extension...acrossthesea
- If I recall the downside is a lack of cuepoints, but I can see workaroundsacrossthesea

Other than that Vimeo tip by chrisRG, doesn't just about every video capable program use the same FLV export module. I always end up with that same interface. AE, Photoshop, etc.

Also, when using the adobe encoder drop the bitrate, it saves a lot of filesize
