site is nice but i don't like how your present your web work. Taking a phot of your screen at angles. Just show the work how it was designed to be seen.

I think your work and folio are solid. Very appropriate for an interactive designer.
A few details I would nitpick:
-The left/right scroll between work views is a little touchy - I might slow it down or make the hit area a little more left or right - it seems as soon as you get off center it's jumping over.
-I would love to see just a straight on shot of the sites/pieces you've worked on before giving us a skewed detail of it.

^^ agreed. website display is weird
- weird for some reason on my firefox.. i can't see it but on my safari it loadshellojeehae

I tried to like it, but it's just all a bit too much, images are a bit all over the place and the interaction felt quite awkward... what I did manage to see if your work though [2 projects] I thought it was good work..
The whole thing could simpler...

Nice work but too jerky.

But if you just show screen shots what's the incentive to view the live site?
- meh it's about being able to present your work... but also a good point, where are the links to live sites?d_rek
- just saying skewed shots of every site probably isn't the best way to introduce us to the workd_rek

The link/info/close buttons are sort of obscure, in my opinion.
The portfolio in itself is devilish, but I think you could probably pre-load the immediately adjacent projects (back and forward, or up and down on your site), because I eventually closed the site, as I got tired of waiting every time.

nothing loads for me. just a blue blob. ff on windows 7 on a mac.
- me neither... ff 3 on XPzshed
- "ff on windows 7 on a mac."
LOLserious_cat - weird. works over here on XP. no windows 7 to test with though.sototallycarl
- i hate the mac os. big shiney buttons.skt
- hi janne.skt

those are some weird frames around your photos.... its kinda distracting in a way. I would simplify it so that the work can speak for itself better
- d_rek0
just a thought for showing the work:
If you wanted to show straight-on shots of the site in context (ie: photographed on a screen or whatever) you could always do that in a variety of environments so that your straight-on shots are as dynamic as your skewed details. So you could shoot one in a office settings or a home setting or on a laptop in a coffee shop etc.

cool. so the general consensus, straight on shots. whether it be photo or screen shot, get it straight. i see it now for sure, there are no "here is what this site really is" shots.

I think it looks good. But I have no idea what you do or what I am looking at.

your flash detection does not work

The project view is not working properly for me. When I click those big arrows it just takes me to a blank white page. Very confusing. You should find a way to really simplify that, and I dont even get what those little icons are below the work.

Dude I saw you at the bar last night. Weird.
