remove presentational markup

I have to redesign a bunch of pages riddled with presentational markup. font tags all over the place. I would just do search and replace but the markup is inconsistent. Sometimes <font size="2" color="#FFFFFF"> and sometimes <font color="#FFFFFF size="2"">
Does anyone know of tools, techniques or scripts to quickly remove these and leave just the basic structure?
Thanks

Find and replace with regular expressions might be the easiest way

do multiple search/replace - how many variations are there?

start over.

I will post what I figure out... if anything. Starting over is probably the solution long term but for now, I have to update some of the pages sooner than a complete redesign will allow.
Here is one:
</?font[^>]*>
This will remove all font tags, opening and closing, no matter the attributes. This is cool and a good start.Reading here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/drea…
