hi,
my iMac dont want to play on external speakers! in sys preferences/sound im not able to change to headphone output.
please help!

Do you have any sound at all or is it just that it doesn't switch to external speakers? Did you try headphones?

Make sure your speakers aren't on mute...

everything seams fine except that i cant switch between internal speakers and headphone in sound effects...

what happend when you plug in the headphone speakers? the internal should stop sounding at that point.
