i just bought deerhunter's weird era cont. album and love it. i never really got into their stuff before this album.

I've been listening to a lot of music from the late 70's and early 80's -> mainly post-punk stuff. It's interesting - ties into a lot of stuff that's going around now (+ on a mundane level, you get to find out where ideas for a lot of modern band names and stuff came from) and a lot of it has far more going for it than a lot of the stuff that's around today. Lots of crazy experimental stuff - I'm enjoying it.
I've been listening to it all through the last.fm player. It's pretty great.
