So I used to use Linotype's Font Explorer X beta to handle my font management duties. Worked like a dream.. but then I installed Avast anti-virus after a virus scare, and now Font Explorer X won't load. Other users have reported the two programs don't work together.
So - what is a good alternative for font management software, or anti-virus software?

suitcase on PC. Lightyears behind FEX, but better than dropping them in the Fonts folder.

I use suitcase. Can't say anything bad about it other than being $99.
