http://www.playcornhole.org/My neighbor just got me in to this game. Played like 9 hours on Sunday. Anyone else hip to the game. It's like horse shoes for the city.

play this at just about any and every family get-together. We've probably gone through at least a half dozen sets of corn / bean bags.
Addicting as hell.

Also, insanely easy to make your own - just buy some plywood, 2x4's and a few pieces of hardware. Cut it down to spec (can find online pretty easy). Can sand the surface of the ply or lacquer it to your liking.

In Sudbury, Ontario, that call that game Baggo™.
Cornhole is a much funnier name.

I thought this would be a very different thread.

So I haven't lived in Ohio for 12 years but seems like everyone thinks this game started there. I never once saw anyone playing that game in the 25 years I lived there but it seems it's gaining popularity here in the Pacific Northwest.

when i was like 5 i played the one where you toss the beanbag and you hit the X's and O's, they spun when the beanbag hit them and it was like tic tac toe in which you try and get 3 in a row.
it appears cornhole is a dumbed down version

that game is fun for about 3 minutes. Then you realize there's beer, bbq and broads in bikinis beside you and it's over.
... or you're playing in the quad between frisbee golf rounds.

Cornhole is really, REALLY popular here in Kentucky. It has it's roots in the Ohio Valley, no doubt.
- Yeah, I've always heard cornholing is big there.harlequino

ha, love this game, we have weekend long competitions in our neighborhood, what a fun game. I made my boards and bags, it was pretty easy. My next boards will have lights underneath so its easier to play at night.

We have a similar game but call it Grunt and it's a drinking game as well. Two players each have there own board but there are 3 holes in it and they stand on top of it. Each being about 10 feet apart. Each hole having either 1pt, 3pt's, or 5pts. First person to 10 wins but you use metal rings (think like 3 inch washers) that you toss like a Frisbee into one of the holes in the opponents board. Every time you're able to get one of the washers in the other opponents hole you have to drink for however many seconds the hole's points are equal to (1 point = 1 second quick shot of beer, 5 points= 5 seconds of chugging a beer). Total redneck game but it's fun and you get blasted really fast. The more you suck, the more fun it gets.
