There was a gameshow like this in the UK about ten years or so back (I'm convinced this show is a rip or derivative of it) where a guy revealed LIVE that he originally asked his girlfriend of several years out in a bar as a bet because she was fat. Awful. This looks worse on the surface but as with all American gameshows it seems staged.
