I bought one of these last week and got it yesterday, and it's pretty cool: http://www.pogoplug.com.
I was wanting to access my external hard drive at home from anywhere without having to run a server from my computer and keep it running all the time. This device is basically a miniature computer running linux which will share any usb drive over the internet.
It took me a few minutes to set up, and now I can access all my files from work or my iPhone which makes it possible for me to access my music library as well. The speed is actually pretty good as well.
Any way, I just thought some might be interested, and I didn't see any mention of it in the Filter. It was about $100.

How does it work exactly?

it plugs into an outlet and has an ethernet and usb port. The ethernet connects to your router, and the usb connects to your drive. Then, you can access everything on your drive through a browser or you can download software that will make it appear like a network drive in your finder or on windows explorer.
