^agreed. and i very dislike the takeout box font. it seems all too western chinese. depends on whats your direction i guess.

Dinky – did you mean a chinese looking design, or chinese looking type???
I agree if you mean the type, but sometimes you gotta go in the direction you're being pulled by the client or the boss.

Think this way, the client has symbolic issues religious sensitivity due to Judaism yet if you do use chinese looking type, the work is an contradictory to its own bias.
I would think to actually use chinese charters as graphic element, I think thats the best solution without representing worship idols and not using stereotypical chinese latin letter.

Anyone know how to find particular characters in a Chinese Opentype font. Fu is the character for good luck, but I wouldn't have a clue how to find it...
unless anyone knows the whereabouts of a vector version???
