Video/Flash presentation

I have to create a new animated sales presentation for a client. I've done a few so far in flash, with a few video elements. The video got embedded, the whole thing exported as a stand alone projector, everything was fine.
For this one, they want the whole thing to be video motion graphics, BUT keep the flash interface i created for selecting 'chapters.' I tend to think that doing it the same way embedding video will get ridiculous for playback and file size.
Any suggestions for a better solution? I was thinking maybe along the lines of fancy DVD authoring, but I know so little about it.

Don't embed the video, bring it in dynamically.
Or...if you just want to make a straight up DVD, use Adobe Encore. I only used it once but found it rilly easy to figure out.

Can you export as a Projector from Flash, and still have the FLVs link dynamically?
The reason that was done before was that it was going to a number of different salespeople to use in the field, and had to be as idiot proof as possible.

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't. Maybe host the FLV's on a server so they're not part of the package. Only thing with that is the user will have to be connected to the internet to DL the FLV's.
Also might be worth looking into Adobe Air (although I haven't used it yet)...

You can pull the videos into the standard flash player from local FLV's, just ensure the flash player has controls turned off, this should work just fine locally without the need for streaming from a server or pissing about with your own code.
Just ensure all FLV's are in a video folder alongside the projector.

^i'll give these a shot, thanks chaps. If I can avoid mucking about with DVD functionality and keep it in flash that'd be ideal.

yup, what skeet said. i've done this before and this works fine. if it's on a cd / dvd, use an autoplay script and any idiot can put a cd in a drive then. idiot proof.
