Is she using Entourage or Outlook? I had hard time setting up Entourage. Outlook no problem

BTW I finalized managed to set it up but now after installing some plugins (Flash / Acrobat etc) the keyboard control such as sound, brightness doesnt seem to work.

Entourage is horrible. I run Outlook in Parallels just for work email. But Snow Leopard (next month!) will have better Exchange support, so you can just use Apple Mail, iCal, Address book..
