Adcetera, a print and interactive marketing agency in Houston, just released its new Digital Services website at http://digital.adcetera.com. Comments? Thoughts?

Adobe Flash error when you try and close the window.

I'm getting some funny / jerky JavaScript animations on the accordion menus, ie: http://digital.adcetera.com/vide…

Nice site - no errors here (FF3.x on OSX). I think some advertising / marketing agency websites tend to lean towards copy heavy content... but... aesthetically it balances out.
I try to put myself into the shoes of a prospective client and wonder if I would bother reading most of that stuff? Maybe some of the info would be more effective as keywords/bullet points?
The work however is nice but the rest of the site takes away from it - ie: rollovers, animations, heavy headers / copy.
Just some thoughts.

It's i-ight. Almost template-y looking though. Not crazy about the video animations you have going on. Feels stock-ish.
- Logo looks surprisingly familiar, can't put a finger on it though.fyoucher1
- I thought of Aquent but not quite:

Very corporate. The moving gradient thing is not good at all.
Otherwise it's not too offending at all.
But it falls flat on it's face when you hit the about Page:
http://digital.adcetera.com/abou…- Agreed with the 'about' page... Take advantage of some white space and shorten that column of copyd_rek

I think it's a solid effort. I'm sensing that this agency isn't attempting to become one of the leading design firms in the nation - always talked about on sites like QBN as producing incredibly innovative stuff - but rather, are looking to provide solid, conventional design skills to potential clients. So, given that a lot of their clients appear to be inclined to want more tried-and-true solutions, the design of this site hits the mark. It's nothing too avant, but contemporary enough to make its clients feel that they are hip enough. While I agree with WhiteFace's comments in te, '2005 design' to us is pretty much 'now' design to companies that are not involved in design (Methodist Hospital, Belkin, CenterPoint Energy, etc.), and are mainly looking for someone to update their look. 'Very corporate' is probably a compliment here.
But yes, fix that About page. That kills everything.
- 100% agree..
my guess is that clients will see that and love it. also agree on fixing 'about' page.exador1

yeh i like it, with reference to the tutting 2005 disparagements - please give an example of what this type of site 'is like' nowadays... seriously, please do, cause I would have rolled out something very similar given the brief.
Seriously again - show me something thats 'now'...Im an old fart and I don't keep up...

I think it's a nice site... however, I would lose the reflections on the button type. That will make it look 'dated.' Rest of it is pretty simple, easy to read and use... nice work!

eh... alot of those out there already... really looks like a template. wasn't too impressed, but probably right up the alley of local and regional clients.
