There was a book of surfer photographs published in the 40's or 50's I think... it showed a similar aesthetic, but it wasn't just about the look, it was about a time and place before surfing became a way to sell stuff and before suburbs killed the coastline....

I dont think they were published that long ago.
Those fins and wetsuits are not cerca 1950. More like 2006/2007
firewire surfboards did not exist 5 years ago let alone 60
