it's not that I like it, it's just the way it is. how many clients want a nice CI with tons of cool printed stuff and how many want a waaaaabsyyyyte? How easy is it to find a job if you are a print designer, and if you're skilled in interactive stuff? just the way it is.

I think it has value. Print is not completely dead people will always need these services and it's good to have a resource of new vendors. Good job on the idea, the site itself though its a little tiresome imo because it is so free fluid. Sometimes a little hint that something is a link is a link is actually nice UX. If the service is a database of these vendors why do you bother having so many pages and not just give the information in a more forward way, unless you have to pay something to get the information. I dunno it just seems like your trying to reach a niche audience and theirs something missing here with the way it is now. It feels unfinished in this state.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: print isn't dead or dying. It's just changing. Chances are the companies who appreciate great web design also appreciate great print design. It's true that if their business is say, email compliance, they really don't need much print stuff. But I think good design is good design. Just because people are being more judicious with how they spend their print budget dollars, that doesn't mean print is going away by any means.
For example, printed annual reports are dwindling more and more each year, but I don't see novels or art books going away.

On a more pertinent note, this site looks really useful. Good link.
