the thing is, all of that money now that they won. i bet none of that acturlly will go to the artist it self. it's all goes down in the pocket of the lawyers and record companies.

I think of all the cash I spent on tapes back in the day, then all the cash on cd's - I think of my father who's purchased every conceivable format of certain albums; Vinyl, 8Track, Tapes, CD, and now MP3. I think that if you've purchased an album in the past and that format is not widely supported you should be able to download it again for free. If the ipod ever fades are we going to be forced to purchased a totally different format of a Jimi Hendrix album - rip off!
