GDP dropped 1 percent in the second quarter of the year....vs 6% in the first quarter. Maybe the recession isn't over but it looks like things will start to turn the corner soon.

From an entirely selfish perspective, I think one of the best results of the downturn thus far is the downfall of more than a few enormous advertising agencies. Good for the small fish like me.

^ I recall reading who knows where that some have gone under... and many of the big shops have dramatically downsized, that is cut by more than half.

I figured a lot of the medium sized shops would have been the first to go. Either way, you're right, creates an opportunity for the small businesses.
