With the samsung galaxy and sony experia x3 phones coming out anyone know of any other good android powered phones for me to wait pensively to buy?
the htc heros supposed to be nice but slow and the camera doesnt have a flash the g3 phone looks pants and the g1 is old.

I need to face up to progress and update my crappy 5 year old phone.
Do any of you bright young things have an Android-based phone?
Any of you geekier types know of any upcoming tech featruing Android that I should wait for?ta!

I have an android phone, old g1...got it to look into making apps but not had time. As a phone it works great, does all I want it to but I only use about 3 apps on it and unusually mainly just use it as a phone. Camera not great but knew that. internet good on it.
happy with the phone but no great answers for either question above I'm afraid

Oops, I got distracted by promise and let this drop - thanks for your responses, you two - I was hoping to find out about the new HTC Hero, which appears to be more looks than substance, sadly.
Announced today is a new Linux-based smartphone from Nokia, the N900 - I think this might be one to wait for!
