been asked to redesign a brochure created in photoshop, its got lots of black text on white background and my question is this.
should i antialias the text?
i know it should be recreated in indesign or some such app but i dont have it (and theres no budget to buy it)
thanks

are there any colours at all?

only for product images
any preference for antialiasing settings in cs4 ?

If you are doing pixel type - go for smooth in anti alias.
(Serif type doesn't work so well in pixels)
Rasterize to see what it will look like.

Do you have Illustrator?

have you got illustrator?
if so, make the visual in PS, then the text in illustrator > export as PDF.

If you don't have Illy. And you have an psd unflattened file - text is still a text layer - you can save as Photoshop PDF from within Photoshop. (keeps text as vector )
