I want to make a archival set up rather than doing scanning. They mainly documents / photos / etc.
Any suggestions?

I want make them digital but hate scanning so I wanted to take pictures of them. Looking for if there is a preset setup that I can buy rather then rigging my own

color card, easel, two equal lights at 45 degrees. normal lens. keep it simple.

I would look around. We had one in our paste-up years ago and I bet you could find one kicking around the back rooms of larger print houses.

google "copy stand"

just use a scanner - it's easier and cheaper than setting a copy stand

I know but its just too time consuming.

my college library had one. used it lots.
weird none of these show the non-glare glass cover which seems pretty essential.
