hello, i'm making a logo for a startup blog type of website that is going to educate people about finance. the company is called "bull & bear essentials" and their tagline is "finance stripped down to the basics".
the client wants a professional look without any any literal imagery like bulls n bears. feedback please:

i think #3 is the cleanest, but would still need some adjusting to get there.

love the little arrows in 6- something is off with the type and the & though.

would you be able to give us the rational for each of your options so far.
at the moment none of them really tell me anything i'm afraid.

#1 stands out the most, I really like it.

I find them all quite hokey for a finance website, tbh, though you could get some mileage from #6 if you played with it a bit - smartened it up a bit.

why isnt there 1 with a bull and a bear ? a the client ... imo they are all to thin for web implementation...I like 6 best from the ones on the pdf

definitely 6 is the strongest concept and 3 the strongest layout (but lacking in strength of message).
Each would work with a bit of attention. Nice job.

An ampersand with both up (bull) and down (bear) market references is key... TINKLDN has given you a great start... but really make the ampersand sing... perhaps using green for bull and red for bear would also do the job... Most of the ideas in your .PDF are nice, refined but visual fluff... Good hustle!

Aye, there's even something nice in the forms of the arrows in 6's ampersand - with the ascendant curve intimating cumulative, interest-born growth and the descendant some kind of predictable straight decline.

dont mean to be rude, but number 5 is hilarious!
of the selection, id go number 6 as the best

number 6 with tweaks... atm the kerning is all out and the U looks too wide. I'd make Essentials darker or drop it altogether.
